ABOUT US

Etsako West Local Government Area is one of the eighteen local government councils in the state that are currently in existence. It has its administrative center in the commercial town of Auchi and includes the districts of Aviele, Awain, Jagbe, South Ibie, and Uzairue-Jattu.

Etsako West is a local government area  Edo State is located in the northern senatorial zone, also known as the Edo north-central senatorial district. Etsako West, Akoko-Edo, and Owan east and west local government areas also make up this federal constituency, along with Esako East and Central.
The 12 council members that represent the 12 wards of the local government area make up the Etsako West Legislative Council, which is headed by an executive chairman and writes the laws that govern the local government region.
