Brief History

The Hospital was officially commissioned on January 6, 1993, by the first Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Alhaji Bukar Abba Ibrahim With a bed capacity of 90, the Hospital has a total staff of 190, comprising senior and junior staff, 22 casual workers, and 20 contact staff.

To provide a fully functional 200-bed hospital with state-of-the-art facilities for services and research to cater to the needs of the community.
