BACKGROUND

Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture Maiduguri is a pioneer College of Agriculture in the entire North Eastern Nigeria. It has produced a large number of agricultural officers who contributed immensely to the development of the agricultural sector of Borno State and the nation at large. The college was formally known as Borno College of Agriculture, and in 2004 it was named after Dr. Mohamet Lawan who was a renowned agriculturalist of national and international repute.
