OLANREWAJU HOSPITAL
OUR HISTORY
Olanrewaju hospital was established in 1986. The facility was run by Dr Idowu Olanrewaju and Dr Abdul Razak Jimoh. The hospital moved to its present site in May 1999 while Dr AbdulRazak Jimoh moved on to establish Delnik Hospital. Since then, the hospital has
continued to undergo extensive re-engineering to face the evolving challenges in the Nigerian healthcare industry.
We provide family-centered primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare services, including a wide range of specialist services as appropriate and tailored towards patient needs. The hospital is a training center for undergraduate medical students and for tutelage and preparation of part 2 postgraduate residents for the Nigerian National Postgraduate Medical College Fellowship examinations in Family Medicine.
The hospital organizes continuing professional development/CME for all medical staff on a monthly basis and performs quarterly audits of in-patient management. We also have a standard library with on-line facilities. We are involved in basic clinical and laboratory research relevant to local, Nigerian, and African health issues. The Malaria Resource Centre, a research enterprise arm of the hospital, has to its credit, published several papers in internationally reputable journals.
