Who We Are

Reynolds Construction Company (Nigeria) Limited (RCC) is a subsidiary of SBI International Holdings AG (SBI), headquartered in Switzerland. SBI is a global construction and development group with a presence in several countries around the world, focusing on Africa, Central America, and Europe.

SBI first ventured into Nigeria in 1956 by establishing Nigersol Construction Company Limited in collaboration with Nigerian investors. One of their landmark projects was the design and construction of Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) in Ile Ife, widely regarded as the most beautiful university campus in Nigeria.

In the late 1950s, SBI formed a strategic partnership with the then Western Region Government, leading to the incorporation of Nigerian Water Resources Development Limited (NWRD) in 1959. This joint venture company was pivotal in executing numerous water projects in Southern Nigeria, particularly in the former Western and Mid-Western regions.

In November 1969, SBI established SolelBoneh Overseas and Harbour Works Company Limited in Nigeria, later renamed SolelBoneh (Nigeria) Limited. The company quickly became a household name, especially in the Western part of the country, known for its extensive road and building projects.
