About Us

Samaritan Clinic/Hospital, is a private medical institution located in Eket in Akwa- Ibom State of Nigeria. The Hospital started its operations on 1982 and is fully registered with the State Ministry of Health, and the National Health Insurance Scheme. We started operations in 1982 in a rented apartment (a story building) and by 1996 we had moved to our permanent site which is located at 7, Ekong Uko Street. The Hospital consulting rooms, a pharmacy, a laboratory department, x-ray and ultrasound department, an audiometry room and operating theatre, in-patient beds. The wards are made up of private wards, general and children’s wards. We also have X-ray department.

Our center is one of the few retained medical institutions utilized by several companies in the oil & gas sector which is one of the reasons we consistently maintain a high-quality standard of practice. We offer medical services to many other companies in different sectors who are operating here in Eket, Port Harcourt, and the environs.

Objective

The Hospital’s objective is to deliver quality health care at an affordable cost to the patients and to deliver health services that are evidence-based, and current.

Vision

The Hospital vision is to become one of the prime leaders on health Services management and delivery in Nigeria. Health is an essential aspect of life and therefore requires planning to ensure appropriate execution. The state of health of a people influences the ability of such a person to contribute to society. Healthy living can only be attained through a conscious effort not by accident. It has been more than twenty – five years since we set out in this rarely exciting journey.

Firstly we are overwhelmed that a simple place to serve has snowballed into a grant project. We did not set out for fare, we saw urgent need for quality healthcare and passionately responded to close the gap. The vast majority underestimated the power of a compelling vision when pursued with a common zeal. We had the course to be ourselves, and with your contribution to this cause will help us make excellent service on epidemic and in this spirit of service we will find our voice. It is our hope that with your assistance we will make a deliberate choice to invest in quality technology and better-quality practices.
