Uyo City Polytechnic is a privately owned polytechnic located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, South-South Nigeria. It was established in 2014.

Uyo City Polytechnic, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has been officially accredited and/or recognized by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Nigeria.

Admission Requirement

The Polytechnic admits students with FIVE O’level Credit Passes in relevant subjects into her ND programs. In addition to this, an HND applicant must provide at least an ND Statement of Result from an NBTE-accredited institution.

Currently, Uyocity Polytechnic has enrolled over five thousand students.

The number is rapidly increasing. It is the mission of the polytechnic to give its students the opportunity to

  • use their knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking skills to make their communities better places in which to live;
  • examine critically the many issues facing society and, through the process of civil discourse, prepare themselves to become socially responsible individuals who contribute to the betterment of society;
  • appreciate and cultivate diversity, and value differences;
  • participate in activities such as artistic and cultural programs, social and residential life activities, and intercollegiate and intramural athletic teams.

Fees

Uyocity Polytechnic provides affordable, high-quality technical education to its students.

The polytechnic charges fees per semester and the average fee per student per semester is readily affordable by the average citizen of the host community.
